The Trimaran is a lug-rigged sailing vessel, meaning the upper side of the sail is supported by a yard and the lower side of the sail is held by a boom that continues as far forward of the mast as the leading edge of the yard. Lugged-rigged sails are easy to raise and handle, and require relatively short spars and lines to rig. A central hull and two narrow pontoons let the Trimaran cut through the water with little resistance, though in strong winds its lack of a keel may compromise stability.
Sea Flea Pocket Yachts are the smallest functional sailboats in the world! They literally sail on a breath of wind in seas as small as a kitchen sink, and need only scissors to assemble. Once the kit is opened, they are ready to sail in minutes. Fully adjustable sail makes sailing on all points possible.
