Clark learned fine woodworking from their maternal grandfather, who made and sold wooden boxes. Clark has continued to expand on his woodworking skills with help from our boatwright while working at CWB in our Livery.
Each porthole frame is a unique combination of upcycled hardwood scraps from our boatshops. Each measure about 6" in diameter, and about .5"-1" thick. A hole saw is used get a smooth curve, with a pattern to evenly space the middle layer (each frame has three layers of wood). Fits photos or other images 4"x4".
Frames photographed with a printed line drawing by Jonathan Tune, included.
